Robert Eugene Ewing, age 82, of Cicero, IN and formerly of Ft. Myers, FL, died October 2, 2013 at Harbour Manor Care Center at Noblesville, IN. He was born April 23, 1931 at Indianapolis, IN to Robert Hubert and Callie Elizabeth (Wright) Ewing. His parents preceded him in death.
He was a graduate of Shortridge High School at Indianapolis and then served his country in the United States Navy. Robert had worked at FMC Corporation and PTC Corporation as a mechanical engineer and project manager.
He was an avid tennis player and wood carver, but most of all he loved and enjoyed interacting with his family. He married Martha Aileen (Bishop) Ewing on February 19, 1955 and they enjoyed 58 years of marriage together. Also surviving him is a daughter: Cynthia Sue Warfel of Cicero, IN, grandchildren: Angela Coyle, Brandon Warfel and Christopher Warfel, great-grandchildren: Bryce Cheetham and Collin Cheetham.
