Robert Eric Delaney Age 46 of Owosso passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Memorial Healthcare. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11am, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Ovid with Fr. Raymond Urbanek officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm.Robert was born August 21, 1971 in Owosso, the son of Patrick and Beverly (Mandock) Delaney.He graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School, class of 1989 and attended Davenport University in Lansing earning a Bachelor Degree in Business Management.Robert was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Ovid and the Shiawassee Republican Party as well as being a Shiawassee County 9/12 Commission member.He was employed with Wakeland Oil Company.Robert is survived by his mother Beverly Delaney; siblings Barbara (Mike) Bolton-Chapko, Frank Delaney, Dennis (Mary) Delaney, Karen Delaney, Raymond (Cathy) Delaney and Ken (Christine) Delaney; many other loving family and friends.He was predeceased by his father and brother Ronnie.Memorial contributions are suggested to Holy Family Catholic Church or Friends of Hospice.Online condolences may be sent to the family at Nelson-House.com.
