Robert Ellsworth Wertz passed away peacefully on November 10, 2011. Robert was born to Joseph and Mary Galbraith Wertz on January 3, 1928. He married Lois Jean Leversee on April 16, 1948. They had 4 children, Peggy Milt Harrison, Elaine Dana Lewnfield, Donald Nancy Wertz and Jan Estes Mike DeMink. He also has 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and also a special friend, Tammy Wallace.
Robert served in the United States Navy during WW II aboard the U.S.S. Arlington and the U.S.S. W.G. Hahn. He served on the Comstock Fire Department for many years. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Lois, his son, Bobby, as well as 2 brothers and a sister.
