Robert Edward Williams passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, and was reunited with his dear wife, Clarice. He was born to David F. Williams and Hazel Musgrove on November 7, 1931, in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
He served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged.
Bob married the love of his life, Clarice Sellers Williams, on February 16, 1956, in Rock Springs, Wyoming. They were married for 66 wonderful years. To this union, they added a daughter and son.
After their marriage, they relocated to Laramie, WY, where Bob attended and graduated with a Master’s Degree from the University of Wyoming. Upon graduation, they moved to Brigham City where Bob started his career at Thiokol where he was instrumental in designing the computer system of which the basic concept is still being used today. Bob and Clarice also owned an outfitter ranch in Pinedale, Wyoming.
In 1967, he began working for Shell Oil Company where their overseas adventures began in Caracas, Venezuela, and London, England. They later returned to Brigham City in 1973 and Bob started many new businesses, including construction, trucking, and farming.
He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. Above all else his family always came first.
Bob is survived by his children: Barbara Riddel (Buddy) and Mike Williams (Teresa); 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sweetheart and parents.
