Robert Edward “Bob” Lane, Jr., age 79, longtime resident of Norwalk, died on Thursday, March 17, 2011 in Indiana, PA. Born in Norwalk, son of the late Robert E. Lane Sr., and Dorothy A. (Powell) Mineo, he was the beloved husband of Anna Louise (Spallone) Lane. Bob retired as a Sergeant First Class from the U.S.
In addition to his wife of 53 years, Bob is survived by 3 daughters, Linda Goggins and her husband Peter of Newport Richey, FL, Dorothy Lane of Homer City, PA and Marie Horne and her husband Timothy of Norwalk, 10 loving grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Theresa Mary Lane, and his brother Richard Mineo.
