Robert Edward Hill, 78, of Ottawa, died January 27, at Pleasant View Lutheran Home in Ottawa.
Mr. Hill was born on February 23, 1928 in Oglesby to Edwin Moses and Mildred (Monroe) Hill. He married Betty Lorraine Walker in 1950 at St. Patricks church in Ottawa. He served in the Navy during WWII. He retired from Libby Owens Ford after 36 years of employment.
He is survived by one daughter; Kathy Lee (Gary) Nelson of Ottawa; two sons, Robert Edwin Hill of Bloomington and Jim Leon (Debbie) Hill of Ottawa; three grandchildren, Melissa, Jessica, and Donnie Nelson; one sister, Mrs. Jean (Hiram) Nelson of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
