Robert Earl Ross, 87 years, of Redford, Missouri died May 12, 2006 at his residence.
He was born October 9, 1918 in Virginia, IL; the son of Earl W. and Ethel Gouder Ross. He married Mary Lockhart and Mabel Alice Albert, whom both precede in death. He married Betty Rewis on July 30, 1990 in Elligton, MO and she survives.
He is also survived by a daughter Elizabeth Ann Renaud (husband, David) of Lecanto, FL; two step sons, Buck Cowin of Ellington, MO and Paul Cowin (wife, Dori) of Labelle, FL; a step daughter, Darlene Gower (husband, Kenneth) of Ellsinore, MO; two grandsons;a great granddaughter; 10 step grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren; and two sisters, Kathryn Ring of Virginia and Helene Irlam of Jacksonville.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Ann Cronk, a brother, Roy Ross, and a brother in infancy.
Mr. Ross served with the US Navy during WW II and was a self-employed building contractor. He enjoyed carpentry, building cabinents and furniture, working with Formica, making crafts and whirligig birds. He also enjoyed gardening and mechanical projects.
