Robert E. Ogdon Sr., age 81, of Steger, IL, passed away peacefully January 10, 2015.
Beloved husband of Elaine Ogdon nee Flickinger. Loving father of Kathleen (Ralph) Shutts, Jeffrey Ogdon and Robert Ogdon Jr. Cherished grandfather of J.R., Melissa, Megan,and Nicole Shutts. Dear brother of Gathamae Silkwood, Grace Pinkston and Mary Gibbs. Robert was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Robert retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service. He was a licensed ham radio operator “N9RCX”, and was a Korean War Air Force Veteran.
