Robert E. Johnson, age 95, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2021 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Robert was born on November 18, 1926 in Dothan, Alabama to parents, Edgar Lee Johnson and Lucille Givens Johnson. He married Brunell Brown Johnson in April of 1950 in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Robert loved to fish and had a special interest in the construction industry. He would drive all over town to see what was going to be built. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
His wife, Brunell Johnson and his siblings, Odean, Odell, Jeanette, Larry and Joe, precede Robert in death.
He is survived by his children; Robert Edgar Johnson, Robert Edward Johnson (Jeanie), Deborah Johnson Hurst (Robert L.), Marie Johnson Caron (Gerard) and Richard Allen Johnson (Tina); Grandchildren, Robert Edgar Johnson, Robert G. Johnson, Jonathan Michael Johnson, Jason Matthew Johnson, Sarah Hurst Petrosko and Claire Kepley; Great Grandchildren, Orian Johnson, Malachi Johnson, Jason Michael Johnson, Jamie Lynn Johnson, Nathan R. Petrosko and Jacob D. Petrosko.
