Robert Edward Flanders August 27 1947 – May 24 2018 Robert Edward Flanders of Peabody died Thursday May 24, 2018 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers MA. Robert was born in Lynn MA on August 27, 1947 the son of the late Clarence Edward and Ann Marie Flanders. He joined the Army at 17 and served in South Korea. After he returned from the Army he married Linda Dooley of Lynn. They had a son Jason. Robert worked at Hood Sail Makers for a time then moved on to work at Danvers State Hospital as an orderly where he met his second wife Janice Duvall. Robert and Janice enjoyed walks in the woods and trips to the White mountains. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Janice in 2015 He is survived by his son Jason of Danvers, a brother Donald and his wife Karen of Beverly, a step daughter Cathy Reed and her husband Edward of Middleton, a step daughter Pricilla Spain of North Andover, his cousin Georgette Guay of Manchester NH, a niece Wendy Walsh of Boxford and two nephews Adam Flanders of California and Craig Flanders of South Carolina.
