Robert E. Dwiggins, 74, Pendleton, died September 2, 2007, at Ball Memorial Hospital-Muncie.
He was born May 7, 1933, in Elwood, and resided in Madison County. He lived in this area most of his life. He retired from South Madison School Corporation as a Custodian. Robert was a graduate of Alexandria High School. He served in the US Army during World War II and the Koren War. He was a member of the Huntsville Community Church. He also attended the Pendleton Church of God. He was a Lifetime Member of the Pendleton Amvets Post 26. He was a past member of the Pendleton American Legion.
He is survived by his Children: Robert Keith Dwiggins Penny of Arkansas, Mike Dwiggins of Alexandria, Brad Dwiggins, Fiance Ruthie of Arkansas, Kevin Dwiggins Vickie of Arkansas, Carol Meaders Monty of Arkansas, Angie Humphrey Jimmie of Pendleton, Darwin Dwiggins LeeAnn of Anderson. Brothers: Frank Dwiggins Donna of Markleville, Chuck Dwiggins Clydene of Crossville, TN, David Dwiggins Apple of Philippines, Gary Dwiggins Kathy of Alexandria. Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded by his Parents: Garland and Ruth Ingram Dwiggins, Daughter-in-law Leantha Dwiggins, and a sister Mary Jo Dwiggins.
