HAVERHILL – Robert E. DesMarais died on Thursday, February 2, at Hannah Duston Healthcare. He was 86 years old and leaves his beloved wife of 58 years, Charlotte (Goudreault), sons Robert Jr. of Kent, CT, Christopher (Kelley) of Oviedo, FL, and Ted (Stephanie) of East Greenwich, RI.
Bob was a proud member of the U.S. Army who served in post-Armistice Korea and New York City and was a graduate of Merrimack College.
Bob was grandfather to Chris’ children, Lucien and Ava, and Ted’s children, Dante and Mia. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Lucina DesMarais, and his brother, Raymond Jr. He leaves a sister, Jean Bretton (Jerry) of Plaistow, NH and several nieces and nephews.
The DesMarais family would like to thank the staff at Hannah Duston for its attention, care, and kindness over the past three years.
