Robert E. Dedee, 82, of O’Fallon, IL, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at his residence. Robert was born on January 4, 1933 in Rochester, NY. He worked in Supply for the United States Air Force; attended Central Christian Church in O’Fallon; and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 805 in O’Fallon, Masonic Lodge 337, Ainad Shrine in E. St. Louis, Krazy Clowns, and the Professional Bowlers Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Johanna Dedee, nee Vellekoop; brother, Harry Dedee; and granddaughter, Susan Dedee. Robert is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Dedee, nee Schmidt, of O’Fallon, IL; children, Bill Dedee of New York, Maryanne McClain of Collinsville, IL, Linda Springett of Collinsville, IL, and Sarah Eckert of O’Fallon, IL; half-brother, Ted Dedee; grandchildren, William Dedee Jr., Paul McClain, Melissa McClain, Rachael Darling, Tad Dedee, Micah (Jaicye) Dedee, and Elizabeth Dedee; and 5 great-grandchildren.
