Brother: Jesse Ray Cowles of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Sister: Marie Bunch of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Caretaker: Shirley Bruce. Special Friend: Nibby. Thirteen Grandchildren, Eighteen Great Grandchildren and Three Great Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Ferne Lucille Imel Cowles in 2004. Parents: Virgil & Lena Hunt Cowles. Son: Robert Ray Cowles. Sister: Virgie Mae Davis.
