On August 27, 2007, Robert “Bob” Edward Lacher of Glen Burnie, formerly of Brooklyn Park. Beloved husband of 56 years to Amy J. Lacher (nee Brookman); Devoted father of Kim M. Chambers and the late Robert “Lee” Lacher; Loving brother of Esther Holmgren, Charlotte Tucker, Charles Lacher and the late Luella Holmgren; Cherished grandfather of Christopher Lacher, Kelly Blanco, Raechel Francis and Victoria Francis; Dearest great-grandfather of Emmanuel, Kiara and Loretta Blanco.

Robert lived in Brooklyn Park for many years before moving the the Glen Burnie area. He was born in Maryland and served his country during WWII as a member of the United States Navy. He worked for Lasting Paint Company in Brooklyn and was later self-employed as the owner of American Paint and Hardware in Brooklyn Park. Robert also served as a volunteer firefighter. He was an avid stamp collector and enjoyed woodworking. Robert was a “jack of all trades” and could always be counted on to fix anything.
