Robert Douglas “Doug” Gober passed away on October 30, 2022. He was born on March 11, 1937 in Hiram, Georgia to the late Robert Grier and Cleo Sarah Gober. Doug was an United States Navy Veteran and served from 1959 to 1963.
In addition to his parents, Doug is preceded in death by his son, Douglas Allen Gober and his brother, Ernest Gober. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret Gober; his children, John (Ryan) Gober and Lisa (Tommy) Taylor; sister, Judy (Paul) Clark; grandchildren, Cassie (Jason) Pulliam, Brooke (Shannon) Horner, Emma Gober, Ella Gober, Essa Gober; great-grandchildren, Taylor Pulliam, Sam Pulliam, Peyton Horner, Brody Horner, Cade Horner, Ridge Horner, and several nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, and brother-in-laws.
