He was born on April 23, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Alfred and Lillian Smith DiFrancesco. On March 22, 2013, Bob was united in marriage to Gail Hilbert Esman. He attended Agape Christian Church with Gail. They enjoyed walking together, going to the movies and the beach.
He was a music lover and liked swimming. Bob is survived by his wife, Gail DiFrancesco of Otsego; daughter, Alison DiFrancesco of Houston, TX; step-children, Paul Melanie Esman of Parchment, MI and Heather Bryan Lloyd of Niles, MI; step-grandchildren, Apple, Kaya, Silas, Cullen, Austin, Jillian and Nicholas; father, Alfred DiFrancesco; brother, Alfred DiFrancesco, Jr.; and nieces and nephews.
