He lived in this area most of his life. He served as President of General Metro Corporation in Anderson since 1962. He was the previous owner/developer of Meadowbrook Golf Course and Pendleton Ave. Storage. He developed Walbridge Acres and Hollywood Estates and Meadowbrook Golf Estates. In 1989 he won the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Little League Baseball Assoc. and in 1998 the Volunteer of the Year Award for his work on the Paramount Theater.
He was an Avid Street Rod Collector. He graduated from Anderson High School. He served his country in the National Guard. He is survived by his Daughters: Stacey Renee and Husband Kenneth Rhodus of Markleville, IN; Elizabeth Ann Richards of Anderson. Son: Robert Scott Walbridge of Anderson. Brother: Charles and wife Donna Walbridge of Ft. Wayne. Several Nieces and Nephews.Previous Spouse: Sandra A. Walbridge. 2 Cousins: Cheryle Polk of Anderson, and Ginny Teagan of Anderson He was preceded by his Parents: Glen C. and Frances Beatrice Teagan Walbridge.
