Robert Hoskinson, 62, passed away peacefully in his home in Canon City, Colorado on January 28, 2022. He was born to Orval Hoskinson and Georgia Green McKeever on August 13, 1959, in Hutchinson, Kansas. He had many nicknames, that of Bobby, “H”, “Hosky”, Oscar, and Sweetheart.
He grew up in Lyons, Kansas, and graduated from Lyons High in 1977. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Dee Werner Hoskinson on May 9, 1983, and together they had 4 beautiful children. 3 sons, Joe, Derek, and Lucas, and a daughter, Emily. He wore the shoes of a son, brother, husband, father, uncle, poppy of 15 grandchildren with 2 on the way, cousin, friend, and mentor, all of which he wore with pride. He had a tremendous love for family and friends and was a beacon of light to whomever he crossed paths with and spread joy and kindness wherever he went.
He was a hardworking man who always did his very best. He loved hiking, biking, sightseeing, woodworking, camping, rockhounding, gold panning, and dirt road cruises.
He is survived by 2 brothers, Sam and Jack; 2 sisters, Cindy and Jodi; mother, Georgie; and stepfather, Dean McKeever. He will be missed by many.
