Robert D Wiley of Mansfield Twp. passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 23rd at the age of 66.
He was born in Riverside and grew up in Burlington where he was raised by his grandmother Emma Wiley. He graduated from Burlington Twp H.S. and later Mercer County Community College. He retired from Burlington City in 2006 after 25 years of service as Building Inspector/Construction Official.
In his retirement he enjoyed spending time on LBI, studying foreign languages, and playing musical instruments. Robert is survived by his wife Michelle (nee Giordano) and is the father of Robert V. & his wife Janna Wiley, Jonell and Bruce Caruso. He is the proud grandfather of Brianna, Marissa, Alicia, Sophia, Olivia, Andrew, Alyce, and Annalise and great grandfather of Derrick.
Bob is also survived by his brother George and his wife Linda Wiley as well as his nieces and nephew.
