KENT – Robert “Bob” D. Kent, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 9, 2022 after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Patricia (Mansfield) Kent for 39 years. Born December 14, 1952 in New Britain; the son of the late Henry and Evelyn (Crombie) Kent.
Bob worked for Northwestern Regional #7 High School as a dedicated custodian for 47 years before retiring on June 28, 2018. He enjoyed hiking with his dogs on the weekends and loved telling jokes from his infamous joke book.
In addition to his devoted wife, Patty, he leaves his sister, Mary Kent; sisters-in-law, Becky Kent and Virginia Schuemann and husband Duke of OH; brother-in-law, John Sherry and wife Gail of FL; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, James Kent and his beloved dogs, Oscar, Dakota and Corky.
