Robert D. Horkheimer (Hork), age 73, of Stratford, beloved husband of Julie Florentino Horkheimer, passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving wife and daughters on Monday, October 17, 2022. Bob (Hork) was born on June 10, 1949 in Bridgeport to the late Robert J. and Katherine Cremin Horkheimer. He was raised in Stratford with his four siblings, and graduated from Stratford High School, Class of 1967. After graduating, he entered the U.S. Army and served one tour in Vietnam. Upon his return from the war, Bob met and married the love of his life, Julie, and spent the next 49 years building a life and family together.
