Robert Duane Ferren, 90, of Des Moines, IA passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, at the Urbandale Health Care Center in Urbandale, IA.
Robert was born November 10, 1930, in Boone, IA, son of Frank and Viola Margaret (McKinney) Ferren. He received his education in Des Moines and graduated from North High School. He married Virginia Pearsall on August 29, 1951. Together they enjoyed 70 years of marriage.
Robert entered the United States Army and serviced his country during the Korean War. Following his discharge, he returned to Des Moines. Robert was employed by FW Means for 38 years until his retirement.
Robert is survived by his children, Jeff (Pam) Ferren of Marshalltown, IA, Deborah Ferren of Galesburg, IL, Frank Ferren of Fort Dodge, IA; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Virginia.
