Robert D. DiVerniero, 52, passed away suddenly August 16, 2012 at the home in North Haven which he shared with his loving wife Marion (Mimi) Augur DiVerniero. He was born in New Haven August 14, 1960 a son of Dominic and Lucille Augliera DiVerniero. A soccer standout he graduated from North Haven High School and attended American University. Mr. DiVerniero was a printing salesman for Hunt Printing. Besides his wife and parents he is survived by his loving daughter Karly Crouse; a brother, Anthony (Lynn Panico) DiVerniero; sisters, Rosalie Carr and Lenore Frost; sister in law, Angie DiVerniero; nephews, Anthony DiVerniero and Bryan (Gabriella Turcio) Panico; nieces, Jenilee (Gregory) Frost-Mullin, Dominique DiVerniero, Alexis Bernstein, and Alyssa Panico; great niece Sophia Mullin and his beloved cat Misu. He was predeceased by his brother in law Todd Carr.
