Robert D. Calvert
Robert D. Calvert, Sr., 87, of Albright, died Friday, March 18, 2016, at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by his side.
He was born, March 16, 1929, in Albright, a son of the late Leon and Florence Shahan Calvert.
Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is a member of the Albright Methodist Church. He also worked for Kchemetals as a shift foreman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he just loved to work.
He is survived by his lovely wife of 63 years, whom he married on July 17, 1952, Thelma McNair Calvert; two sons, Robert Calvert, Jr and wife Darla and Steve Calvert and wife Nina; two daughters, Katherine Lutman and husband Mike and Sharon Calvert all of Morgantown; eight grandchildren Kelley, Shelley, Byron, Alena, Alivia, Ian, Anthony and Donovan; and two great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Paxton.
He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, P.J. Bishop and Karina Calvert.
