Robert Curtis Alston, Jr., 58, of Meriden, passed away on Sunday, June 8th at John Dempsey Medical Center. Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of Marie (Hunter) Alston of Meriden and the late Robert C. Alston, Sr. Robert lived in Meriden since 1964 and was known around the area as DJ Rob Fresh. Along with his mother, he is survived by his son, Robert C. Alston, III of Meriden; two daughters, Talayah Teel of Bristol and Eunece Alston of Meriden; two brothers, Raymond Douglas of Meriden and Johnny Moore of VA and two grandchildren, Mehkenzi and Tymell. Robert was predeceased by his sister, Sharon Johnson.
