On December 18, 2006, Robert Clinton Bruce passed on at the age of 100. Robert was dearly loved by his wife of 76 years, the late Loretta Bruce; his daughter, Nancy J. Beard; his grandchildren, Linda Smith, Jane DelPizzo, and Nancy Kirby; his great-grandchildren, Kimberly Newhouse, Nicole DelPizzo, Angie Newberger and Alicia McCoach; and five great-great-grandchildren. Robert worked as a truck driver for Monarch Foods for many years. He retired from that job in 1971.
