Robert Charles Rumbaugh, 85, of Westminster, died, Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010 at The John Hopkins Hospital.  Born Nov. 13, 1925 in Spangler, PA, he was the son of the late Maude DeLancey Rumbaugh and Charles W. Rumbaugh.  He was the husband of 53 years to the late Marguerite Rumbaugh who died in 2003.

Before retiring he worked as a public school music teacher and band director the in the Uniontown, Pennsylvania area school district.  He also served as a choral director for Asbury United Methodist Church and Trinity Presbyterian Church.  He was a veteran of the Navy.  He worshipped at New Hope Fellowship Church, was an artist, painter, played the piano at Westminster Ridge and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Survived by sons and daughter-in-laws William and Kelly Rumbaugh of Westminster, Richard and Cindy Rumbaugh of Durham, NC, and 14 grandchildren.  

Besides his wife he was predeceased by sister Olive Mulholland.
