Melbourne, Florida – Robert Charles Nappi, age 72, of Melbourne, Florida entered into eternal rest on Wednesday April 1, 2015 at the home of his sister in Cheshire, CT. Mr. Nappi was born January 31, 1943 in Waterbury, son of the late Alfred and Elda (Mancini) Nappi.
Mr. Nappi was a retired truck driver and proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves. His interests included Harley Davidson motorcycles, Western movies and going to tag sales. He also volunteered at Bread For Life in Melbourne. He proudly maintained his sobriety for the past 20 years by being an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous while living in Florida.
Mr. Nappi is survived by 3 children: Robert, Lori and Jason all of Waterbury; 3 grandchildren: Tierra Bonacassio, Thomas Nappi and Natalia Nappi; 3 great grandchildren; his sister Judy Richard and her husband Paul of Cheshire; a niece Cheryl Richard and a nephew Brian Richard of Wolcott.
