Robert Charles “Bob” Demeuse, 80, of 1220 Delta Avenue, Gladstone, passed away Monday evening September 25, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba following a lengthy illness.

Bob was born August 23, 1937 in Perkins, MI the son of Joseph and Adele (DeGrand) Demeuse. Bob was a truck driver for Timber Homes, retiring in 1999.

Bob was united in marriage to the former Evangeline “Vangie” Brill in October of 1987 and together they made their home in Gladstone where they owned and operated The Spot Tavern and later Uncle Bob’s Bar.

Bob was a member of All Saints Church in Gladstone and Son’s of the Gladstone American Legion. Bob loved working in his woodshop. He especially enjoyed making fish shacks, hunting blinds, fences and picnic tables.

Jeff (Donna) Demeuse of Cedar Lake, IN
Ken Demeuse of Appleton, WI

Stepdaughter: Tammy (Bill) Klotz of Escanaba

Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In addition to his parents, brothers, George, Ray, Norm, Joe Jr, and sisters, Rose Bernard and Dorothy Saari preceded Bob in death.
