BARKHAMSTED – SULLIVAN – Robert C. Sullivan, 89, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2021 at his home. He was the loving husband of Julia (English) Sullivan for 59 years. Born April 16, 1932 in Winsted; the son of Martin and Dorothy (Warren) Sullivan. Robert was employed as a Machinist for Sterling Engineering for many years. He enjoyed assisting his wife design their gardens and help with plantings. He loved going to the Barkhamsted Senior Center was a founding member of those planning and participating in the meals there. In addition to his wife, he leaves a brother, Patrick Sullivan and wife Diane of Winsted; many nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by twelve siblings.
