Muncie – Robert C. Rogers, 85, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at his residence following an extended illness.

Robert was born in Friendsville, Tennessee on April 27, 1927, the son of Shade and Helen Rogers, and attended Friendsville, Tennessee Schools.

Mr. Rogers proudly served in the Navy during World War II. He worked as a Machine Repairman for Borg-Warner for over 25 years. Robert was a member of UAW Local 287.

Survivors include two sons, Donald Rogers, Muncie, and Kenneth Rogers, Muncie; a daughter, Carolyn Puckett, (husband-Paul Dale), Salyersville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Tracy Rogers, Ryan Dale Puckett, and Nathan Puckett; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a long-time special friend, Cleora Weaver and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ronald Dean Rogers; a daughter, Sandra Kay Rogers; four brothers; two sisters; and his ex-wife, Bessie Rogers.
