Robert Ciro Julius DiLonardo, 86, of Lavallette, NJ, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was raised in Dunellen, NJ and graduated from Dunellen High School and Rutgers University. After graduation, he spent three years serving his country in the United States Air Force.
He spent most of his career working for Sherwood Medical in St. Louis, MO as Vice President of International Sales and Marketing. Upon retirement, he moved to his beach house in Lavallette, NJ.
Robert was an avid golfer, photographer, and never met a dog he didn’t like. He loved the boardwalk, the beach, and riding his bike through town.
Robert is predeceased by his parents Francis and Uliana DiLonardo, and his brothers; Anthony and Joseph.
He is survived by Joyce Smilek, his sister Martha and Tom DeNapoli, Mary Jo DiLonardo, as well as their four daughters; Liana and Bob Mitchell, Julene and Jon Van Kleeck, Catherine Carey, and MaryBeth and Anthony Giordano. He enjoyed spending time with his nine grandchildren; Preston, Andrew, Aaron, Christopher, Allison, Matthew, Connor, James, and Jacob, as well as two great grandchildren Hudson and Dean.
