Those left to honor Bob’s memory are his wife, Adele of Newton; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy W. (Tim) Ham and Patti Garvin[-Ham of Fort Collins, Colorado, Charles R. (Chuck) Ham of Rock Creek West in Kellogg, Iowa, and Robert C. (Rob), Jr. and Susan Ham of Newton; his 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa A. Safris of Des Moines, Iowa, Cecelia M. (Sake) Hame-DiGregorio and vince DiGregorio of Livermore, Colorado, and Justina M. (Tina) and Bill Coady of Newton; 15 grandchildren; his 4 great-grandchildren; his sister, Bernita Slavens of Davenport, Iowa; brother-in-law, Lou Cruckelow; and his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Marvin Ham and Dugen Ham in infancy; sister, Phyllis Cruckelow; and his brother-in-law, Charlie Slavens.

Bob served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and also in the National Guard.

He was a retired Automotive Tech with Target. Bob also owned and operated Ham’s DX gas station in Newton and Colfax.
