Robert Byron Caldwell II

Robert Byron “Bob” Caldwell, II, better known as “Grand-Bob” to his family, of Prattsville, was born February 24, 1952 at Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Robert Byron Caldwell, I and the late Joanne Rimer Caldwell MaHaffey. He was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville and was a project manager for VCC Construction. Bob loved adventures such as skydiving, bungee jumping and scuba diving with his wife and son. He was an avid reader who loved to travel to historical places, particularly Civil War battlefields.
Mr. Caldwell died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at his home in Prattsville, surrounded by his family, at the age of 56.
Survivors include his wife and best friend, Sharen Hope Caldwell; sons, Robert Byron “Robby” Caldwell III and wife Melissa, and Sammy Caldwell; mother-in-law, Virginia Hope, all of Prattsville; father, Robert Byron Caldwell, I of Stockton, Missouri; sister, Linda Caldwell and her daughter, Bob’s niece, Gillian Baillie, both of Bella Vista; grandchildren, Bradlee, Bailey, Autumn, Allee, and “Little” Robby; he is also survived by numerous other extended family members and friends.
