Robert Bruce Palmer, 61, of Belton passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at a Temple Hospital.
Bruce was born on February 8, 1956 in Okemah, Oklahoma to John T. and Martha Patricia (Wallace) Palmer. He grew up and graduated high school in Okemah. Mr. Palmer attended The University of Oklahoma before returning to work for the family business upon the death of his father. Bruce later received his pilots license and became a helicopter pilot, working for may years for AirEvac medical helicopter company in Temple before his health forced him to retire.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother Patricia of Oklahoma, son Jordan Palmer of Belton, daughter Sabella Palmer of Austin, brothers Sam Palmer of Tulsa and Tom Palmer of Okemah, and sisters Nancy Palmer of Tulsa and Beth Ann Palmer of Prescott, Arizona.
