He was born in Southampton, NY on June 23, 1949. Bob was an avid golfer. He was previously a member of Indian Hill Country Club in Newington, CT and was most recently a member of Gator Trace Golf & Country Club. Bob earned a Master of Science Degree from Central Connecticut State College in 1982. He was employed by the Middletown Board of Education as a teacher in Middletown, CT for 35 years prior to his retirement in 2008. He leaves his wife of 28 years Joan, his Mother Dalene, daughter Sarah, his sisters and their spouses Chrissie & Bob Nardy Southampton, NY & Connie & David Hanson Winfield, Il and his sister in law Elizabeth. He also leaves 3 stepchildren Victoria Scruggs, Doug Kilham & Jessica Kilham. He was predeceased by his father Robert and his brother David.
