Robert “Bobby” Rumler, 33, of Anderson, passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 10, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on May 21, 1987 to Betsy Sheets and the late Greg Rumler. Robert graduated from Anderson High School in 2005 and was a customer service specialist. He was an amazing dad, husband, and son who loved spending time with his family more than anything. He loved his dogs, Tito and Fizzie, and Ruby the cat. He was an avid poker player, playing in several World Series poker events, he coached little league at Shenandoah, was a huge Cubs fan, and a coin and Pokemon collector. He loved hummingbirds, video games, movies, and music.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Tawny Rumler; sons, Benjamin and Geoffery Rumler; mother, Betsy (Bucky) Sheets; sister, Ginger Rumler; brother, Aaron Rumler; step-siblings, Jennifer Leath and Brandon Sheets; nephews, Jonathon Rumler, Graham Rumler, and Walker Sheets; niece, Emily Rumler; sister-in-law, Dixie Rumler; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Geoffery Rumler; and grandparents, Bob and Ginger Morse, and his best friend Benjamin James. Robert’s family would like to thank the amazing Neuro Trauma ICU staff at St. Vincent 86th St with special thanks to Nurse Sam.
