Robert “Bob” Ringwalt Jr., age 64, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was born on May 31, 1957.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Weaver Ringwalt Sr.; brother, Max Ringwalt; grandparents, Hartwell (Sarah) Phillips and Austin (Mattie) Phillips.
He is survived by his mother, June Ringwalt Moody of Ellijay; stepfather, Charles Moody of Ellijay; wife, Agnes Smith Ringwalt; daughter, Sarah Smith of Ellijay; stepchildren, Nathan (Dawn) Smith of Resaca, Robert Smith of Dalton, Nancy (Chris) Jorden of Chatsworth, Beverly Smith of Dalton; brother, Rev. Joseph (Carol) Ringwalt of Cartersville; grandchildren, Destiny Smith, Jorden Smith, Emerald Jorden, Jill Jorden and Samson Jorden; sisters in law, Ollie Marcelino, Lynn Ringwalt of Acworth and Annie Garland of Cumming; brother in law, Anthony (Flora) Witten; and special friends, Jesse (Shanda) Bryson of Chatsworth and Bill and Jesse Baxter of Ellijay; and several nieces and nephews.
Bob was a true Christian. He loved the Lord and always has a beautiful smile for all, a kind word, and a warm handshake. Bob could sure reach heaven when he prayed. He was a hard worker and had compassion for anyone who needed help. Bob was loved by young to old. He was an angel on Earth to many. Now, Bob is an angel to watch over us.
