Robert ‘Bob’ Louis Scow, age 74, of Silver Creek, Nebraska, formerly of Shelby, passed away April 6, 2020 at his residence in Silver Creek.

Bob was born January 20, 1946 in Shelby to Louis Richard and Margaret (Pickrel) Scow. He attended Dist. 16 country school north of Shelby and graduated from Columbus High School in 1964.
Following high school he began farming nine miles north of Shelby.
He was united in marriage to Kay Swan. To this union four children were born.
Bob was owner of Sandy Creek Feedlot until the early 2000’s.
On June 25, 2005 he was united in marriage to Lisa Marie VanWashenova at the Midwest Covenant Home Arboretum in Stromsburg. He was a truck driver for Rolland Johnson, and eventually purchased his own truck and hauled grain locally until 2008 when he retired due to his health.
He enjoyed working all the time, especially at the feedlot and driving his truck. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed teasing his family and friends. He looked forward to holidays and oyster stew, and the Nebraska Husker football season. He will also be remembered for his love of sweets.
Bob became a friend of Bill W. January 6, 1986.
Survivors include his wife Lisa of Silver Creek; three daughters, Kim (Terry) Zollman of Gretna, Kris (Jim) Stanek of Omaha, Nicci (Keith) Dill of Omaha; one son Eddie (Andrea) Scow of Lincoln; step-children, Shawn (Kate) Rogers of Hickman, Cecelia (Clayton) Rogers of Silver Creek and LeRoy (Morgan) Rogers of Tennessee; seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; one sister Joyce (Charles) Micek of Shelby; brother-in-law Rob Glatter of Shelby and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Debbie Glatter of Shelby.
