Robert “Bob” Lehouillier, Jr., age 70, of Escanaba, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2022. Bob graduated from Escanaba High School and worked his entire career at Mead Paper. In June of 1979, Bob married the love of his life, his best friend Mary Cridelich Barnhart, and together celebrated 39 wedding anniversaries. Bob was not only a devoted husband, but he cherished his children Curtiss, Deborah, Erik and Craig, which became his family when Bob and Mary married. Mary proceeded him in death in 2018.
Bob was well known in the community for his devotion to youth sports, serving Little League since 1970; his many roles included, coach, league president, league director, umpire and was recognized for his commitment with his induction to the Upper Peninsula Little League Hall of Fame. Bob was also well known for calling bingo at the UP State Fair Little League Bingo Tent.
Bob also coached Football for over 40 years at Holy Name Catholic School, many of the years with undefeated records, with his final coaching season in 2021.
Bob enjoyed spending every November at hunting camp, always with his canine companion, Lacy.
Bob is survived by his children, Curtiss (Rebecca) Barnhart, Deborah (Donald) Leisner, Erik (Diane) Barnhart and Craig (Mary) Barnhart, Grandchildren Kristin (David) Fishburn, Lucas (Alli) Barnhart, Danielle Leisner, Nicholas (Dominique) Leisner, Mackenzie Leisner(Fiance Larry Burnette), Michaela Barnhart, Oliver Barnhart (Alice), Brenna Barnhart, Rachael Barnhart (Fiance Joshua Bomberg), Zakary Barnhart, Reagan Barnhart, Colin and Morgan Barnhart, 6 Great Grandchildren, siblings John (Donna) Lehoulillier and Mary (Mike) Vance, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife Mary, Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Nona Lehouillier and sister Lisa Lehouillier.
