Robert Lee Nichols, 78, of Plainville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his residence. He was born on April 8, 1943 in Washington, Indiana to John Robert and Norma Ruth (Goodwin) Nichols. Bob married Marilyn Diane (Osmon) Nichols on December 9, 1961.
Bob was a member of the Plainville High School Class of 1961. He began his tool and die career at the Plainville Machine and Tool and various other corporations. He worked in a career of management of tool and die at Sabin Corporation/ Cook Medical, retiring in 2010. Those who knew Bob well knew that he was a man of many hobbies. He loved to hunt and fish.
Bob was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Marilyn Nichols; son-in-law, Robert Stoll; brothers, Joe and Danny Nichols.
