Robert (Bob) Lee Davis, 81 passed away Monday, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born in New Bedford, MA. He attended Vocational High School in Dartmouth, MA., where he was the first student to letter in five sports. He retired from the U.S. Army with over 20 years of service. He received many Military Decorations which included his Bronze Star, Meritorious Service, National Defense, and Vietnam Service Medals.
Bob was a devoted, kind, and loving family man.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William Talmadge & Frances Marion Davis and his sister Marvese Nell Davis.
Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mildred L. Davis, his daughter Marvese Tankersley (Mark) from Madison, AL, his daughter Karen Belrose (Kevin) from Oak Ridge, TN and his daughter Angela Brazzle from Paducah, KY, his 2 grandsons Mitchell Tankersley (Kayleshia) from Hoover, AL and Jacob Brown from Oak Ridge, TN., his 3 granddaughters Marvese Brown from Memphis, TN., La’Ken Brazzle from Cookeville, TN., Anna Tankersley from Madison, AL., and a great grandson, Kaedyn Tankersley from Hoover, AL.
