Robert “Bob” Johnson, 87, of Chandlerville passed away on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020. He was born July 17, 1932, to Ella (Pherigo) and John Johnson. He married Marjorie Kern in 1955.
Mr. Johnson was employed by Hiram Walker and retired from Chandlerville Grain. He was an avid mechanic who worked on and restored cars. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Germany.
Bob is survived by four daughters, Marla, Marlene (David), Bobbi (Dale) and Melissa (Steve); seven grandchildren, Rusty, Jill, Theresa (Todd), Brooke (Troy), Anthony, Rebecca and Gabrielle; six great grandchildren, Savannah, Jamie, Kramer, Karley, Kaleb and Jace; a brother, Harold Johnson; his companion Dona; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie; his sister, Marie Goben; and a grandson, Joshua Johnson.
