Robert “Bob” V. Gaultney, 71, of Westphalia, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Born in Daviess County on July 10, 1936, he was the son of Max and Tressa F. (Barks) Gaultney. He married Donna P. Klutey on June 22, 1984.
He was a coal miner with Amax Co. Minnehaha Mine and retired in 1983.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; one son, Doug Gaultney of Bruceville; two daughters, Lesa (David) Pegg of Yorktown and Denise Kleysteuber of Vincennes; two stepsons, Doug (Janet) Brochin of Odon and Mark Brochin of Lyons; two stepdaughters, Michelle (Brad) Stefanick of Linton and Becky (Dennis) Zanchary of Jasper; and two sisters, Judy (Jim) McFadden of Terre Haute and Jane Ann (Ken) Koenig of Sandborn. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Phillip Gaultney.
