Robert E. Powers, Jr. Bob enjoyed 77 years of a memorable life before his journey ended on May 27, 2010. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed all things outdoors with his faithful dog Red. His patriotism was demonstrated through serving his country in the Korean War and involvement with the American Legion and VFW. His dedication was apparent from 30 years of involvement with the Lions Club, serving in various capacities including president of the noon Lions. His kindness was evident through his actions to help others in need.

Bob is survived by his daughters, July Zampese and her children Beth, Brett, and Michael and Suzie Doss and her children Ryan and Robbie and wife Bonnie and her daughters, Sherri and daughters Kelbi and Clare, Kelly and husband Sean and daughters Brittley and Kristen, Karen and husband Mike and daughters Casey and Becky, and Sandy and daughters Jennifer, Sarah, and Jessica and 14 greatgrandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Powers, Sr. and Dorthy Queen Powers, his brother David, as well as the mother of Judy and Suzie, Mabel Powers.
