Robert “Bob” C. Berg, 71, of Chillicothe, passed away at 1:15 AM Saturday June 20, 2015 at the Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
Bob was born March 5, 1944 in Streator to Maurice “Moe” & Ruth V. (Marshall) Berg. He married Delores “Dee” Holz on July 31 1980 at St.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife, brother Ron (Joyce) Berg of Oglesby, and children: Bob (Lisa) Berg and grandson Bobby of Antioch, IL, Brent (Lida) Berg of Metamora, Cynthia (Chip) Smith and grandchildren Carter and Tahlia of Ft. Myers, FL and Timothy (Debbie) Stein and granddaughter Laurel and of Mineral Bluff, GA.
Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa, as well as active community member, bird watcher, reader of history and handyman. He was a member of the Chillicothe Rotary Club for about 10 years during which time he served as president and on many committees.
