Robert Benjamin Grubbs “Ben”, 69, passed away July 14, 2018. Ben, a native and long-time resident of Newnan, Georgia, currently resided in Centre, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Grubbs and Virginia Hill Grubbs and his baby son, Benny Grubbs.
A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Ben is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of nearly 51 years of marriage, Patricia Thompson Grubbs “Pat”. His children are Michael Scott Grubbs (Tina)and Lisa Grubbs McWilliams. His brothers are Jimmy Grubbs (Anna Marie), Frank Grubbs (Barbara)and Phil Grubbs (Olivia).His sister is Jo Anne Bryant (Ronnie). Ben’s grandchildren are Tiffany McWilliams, Braxton Grubbs, and Ethan Grubbs. The step-grandchildren are Morgan Smith and Sean Smith. There is a large extended family of nieces and nephews.
