On June 27, 2008, Robert B. Jones passed on. Robert was dearly loved by his late wife of 54 years, Ruth Catherine Jones; his beloved children, Robert Blaine Jones and Sharon Lynch; his cherished grandchildren, Cody L. and Collin D. Smith; and his late sister, Hazel Hartman. Robert was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1933. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps from January of 1952 to June of 1953 during the Korean Conflict. He served as a Sergeant and earned the Silver Star during the Korean War. He was later with General Motors for 32 years as an Auto Worker. Robert was a member of the D.A.V. and the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation.
