Bob was born September 25, 1941, in Denver, CO.  He grew up in Golden, attending Jefferson County Schools and graduating from Golden High School in 1959.  The day after graduation, Bob left to serve his country in the US Army, where he served from 1959 to 1962.  After returning home, he went to work for Coors Brewery, starting on the loading dock and working his way up to Supervisor.

Shortly thereafter, Bob met the love of his life Barbara Jean Bradford.  They were married September 11, 1970 in Arvada, CO, after which Bob went to work for the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).  He and Barb then moved to Fairplay, where Bob retired after 25 years with CDOT.  After retirement, Bob and Barb moved briefly to Mesquite, NV, but returned to Colorado, settling in Canon City in 2002.

Bob loved life, Barb, children, dogs, hunting, and golf.  He is survived by Barb, his loving wife of 52 years; step-children, Tonya (Bill) Gowan of Mitchell, GA, Jeffery (Melissa) Bradford of Shorewood, IL; sisters, Frankie Greene of Jefferson, CO, and Elaine Pasco of Conway, AR; niece, Ginger Greene of Jefferson, CO; and many cousins and friends whom he considered family.  Bob was a proud lifetime member of the Masonic Society and a lifetime member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
